What Does A Lesion On The Breast Below The Nipple Indicate?

I have a lesion on by breast below the nipple, which has formed over the past month. Since its inception, it has varied in color from pink to brown to black. Two days ago, it ruptured, leaking pus and blood. Now it has raised edges, and has faded to a lighter brown, with abnormal, raised edges. It doesn t hurt to touch. I have a doctor s appointment in one week. Should I be concerned about this immediately, or can it wait a week?

I really appreciate your concern, it seems to be a infection with abscess formation and of course it need to be taken seriously it may required surgical intervention along with antibiotic and better to see the surgeon for this, hope this information helps.
