What Does A Dark Line From The Pregnancy Test Suggest?

hi, i have missed my periods. I got the pregnancy test kit and tried it. The kit says if 2 lines appear its positive, if 1line appear its negative. Aftr i put the urine sample 1 dark colored line appeared. Aftr sometime another very light colored line appeared. What does it mean?

Hi, I have gone trough your question. The dark coloured line on the kit is known as control line and is appears on all kit after the test. The 2nd line nown as test line, if similar as the control line means you are pregnant, while its absence indicates that you are not pregnant. A very light coloured test line can be due to various reasons like very early pregnancy, pregnancy outside uterus (ectopic pregnancy) or early abortion.
I would suggest you to consult your OBGYN specialist and get a transvaginal ultrasound to confirm pregnancy.
