What Does A Dark, Itchy Spot On Foot Suggest?

I have a dark spot on my foot that looks dark and itches. It started out really small like a little burn mark. Now it s the size of 50 cent piece. Initially I thought it was result of my feet swelling leaving a dark spot from fluid build up.. Now I m worried because its getting worse and really itchy and ugly not to mention dark. My sister is a nurse I took a picture she says it maybe an ulcer? I need your advice?

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com I am sorry to hear about your skin issue. Please note that this ever growing mole, that is itchy, that looks ugly is cancer until disproven by an excision biopsy by a dermatologist. Please have someone look at it and tell you otherwise. This is one of those situations that I would to be proven wrong. I hope this helps. Good luck.
