What Does QRS 88ms Suggest In The ECG Report?

I am Male from India aged 55 yrs & 9 months. Height 5 -2 , weight 74 kgs. My ECG Measurement results are (taken immediately after a fast 200m walk to the hospital, and 2 sensors in my chest kept slipping because of hairy surface): QRS: 88ms, QT/QTC: 336/460 ms, PR: 114 ms, P: 100 ms, RR/PP: 534/530 ms, P/QRS/T: 40/35/62 Deg.Additional information: I am a diabetic (HBA1C: 7.6%) with controlled BP for 9 yrs. My Lipid Profile is within range.Looking for your interpretation. Also, do you suggest going for another ECG from a different place. If required, Email: YYYY@YYYY

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hi, I would suggest you repeat an ecg after clean shaving your area of chest where atleast the ecg leads are kept. ECG changes may be artifactual due to hairy surface and one can not comment on such results and it is not advisable to do so. although your number seems alright but ecg interpretation requires complete readiing of strips and not just numbers. It is nice to hear that your lipid levels are normal, but you r HbA1C is a concern for me. Ideally for diabetics it is better to maintain below 7% in order to prevent long term microvascular complications, like damage eye, kidney, brain, heart, nerves and so on. I would like you to adhere to a strict diet and exercise and monitor blood sugar at home as well as review your medications by an endocrinologist. Rest would be fine . i hope you have a hale healthy and a hearty life. Do let me know if you have any more questions for me..
