What Does Mild Right Pelviectasis Mean?

I had an US of the kidney and bladder due to frequent UTIs. The impression findings say: Mild right pelviectasis and Large 7.6 cm Left adnexal cystic lesion withy periphoral hypoechoic component measuring 4.0 cm that does not demonstrate internal vascularity. What does this mean? I just turned 40.

Welcome to health care magic.

1.The report suggest there is a fullness of the pelvis and calyx. This could be due to the distal narrowing of the ureter.
2.This can be a normal feature in some cases as baggy pelvis, and extra renal pelvis.
3.In the left adnexa there is a cystic lesion with solid component.
4.There is no internal vascularity - suggest predominant cystic component.
5.In this case suggest a followup scans if symptoms persists an operative treatment is needed.
6.For UTI - urinary tract infection an antibiotic course might be needed. Good luck.

Hope i have answered your query,
