What Does L4-L5 Diffuse Bulge Mild Mean?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... Hello I had a MRI that reveal L4-L5 diffuse disc bulge mild relative spinal canal stenosis and extension of disc into neural foramen with some slight L4 nerve root impingement. Also L5-S1 bony spurring causing some neural foraminal compromise and L5nerve root impingement

1.It means the disc which helps in shock absorber character between the vertebrae has moved backwards.
2.And causing the pressure effect on the spinal chord posteriorly.
3.Nerve compression on the foramen on the vertebral bodies.
4.The bony spur is seen as a degenerative changes - bony growth / ligamental calcification / osteophyte formation.
5.Depending on the symptom severity simple exercise will be initial treatment followed by the operative / interventional procedure.
