What Does ESR Of 49 Indicate?

I am a female, age 43 years. Got my blood test and the esr result shows 49. How dangerous is that? Occasionally i do experienced chronic allergy rhinitis.
Another concern was my urine test result. No abnormalities except the blood trace indicates 3+. What does that means. I did a thorough urine test earlier and the result was fine but the Doctor can't explained of the blood traces. Btw, i do have endometriosis. Please advise

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way.

ESR 49:

ESR indicates nothing until results of other tests are not combined with it.. ESR may be increased in many cases specially long standing disorder in your case it can well be allergy since long time.Get your Liver and Kidney tests (LFT,RFT ) done if they are normal then don't worry much about ESR.

Urine Test:

If your Kidney tests (urea ,creatinin) were normal and your Urine test showed no trace of protein then this blood can be from a kidney or ureter stone or trauma or in very very rare cases endometriosis..


Advice:

1-Get Liver kidney Blood tests done if not already done
2-Get Ultrasound KUB with full bladder to check if there is a stone in kidney or urinary passage.
3-Repeat Urine test after 15 days and make sure that urine tested is mid stream urine
4-Don't worry much thing will be alright.
