What Does Cluster Of Endocervical Cells Are Also Seen Mean In A Pap Test?
Hai sir, In my pap smear cytology report shows inflammatory smear shows large number of superficial and intermediate squamous epithelial cells. CCluster of endocervical cells are also seen . And also in my vaginal swab culture and sensitivity report shows culture yiel growth of Enterococci What is that and give me the next steps?

Hi Endocervical cells are present normally in the cervix just like squamous cells and is not a cause of concern. In your case pap smear report suggests inflammation, which could possibly be due to infection. Causal agent is probably enterococci which was isolated in the vaginal culture. So you need to consult your gynecologist for further treatment. Regards.
