Hello,

First of all Amlodipine is a good drug to control raised BP. But the long duration of treatment with Amlodipine can cause pedal edema. All you need to do is to discontinue Amlodipine. Few queries regarding your symptom are:
• Your age?
• Can you see veins bulging out in the legs?
• Drugs frequency?
• Kindly describe your pain aching or sharp or throbbing pain?
• Have you done any investigation like ECG, ECHO?
• Age of onset of hypertension?
• Have your doctor ruled out secondary causes of hypertension? The reason that I am asking you is that your BP seems to be controlled on only on multiple drugs.
• Have you checked plasma aldosterone concentration/plasma rennin?
• Your serum albumin value and latest TSH value?

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
