What Does 17mm Inferior Pole Right Renal Cyst Indicate?

I just received an MRI report for my lower back pain. One of the findings is a 17mm inferior pole right renal cyst. I am a 60 year old woman in very good health, am 5 7 and weigh 163. Can you explain what this means and if there is something I should do about it?

Hello
Thanksfor query.

You been detected to have a simple Renal Cyst of a size of 17 mm in your Right Kidney.

This is a simple benign cyst and is always congenital in origin and has no significance at all .

It does not require any active intervention or treatment .
