What Do Yellow Spots With Swelling And White Pus In Throat Mean?

Have had a sore throught for a week now throught looks a little swollen with what appears to be white puss maybe? Just noticed it but seems to be many red and yellow spots on the roof og my mouth. It hurts to yawn but pain has decresed drasticly from what it was.

I had read your clinical history regarding painful with swollen and yellow spots on the throat.

These all above indicates towards ACUTE FOLLICULR TONSILLITIS. Therefore to make proper diagnosis and treatment you should do these basic investigations-

1- Culture and sensitivity of throat swab.

2- blood- CBC, ESR, blood sugar (F & PP).

With the help of above investigations and it co-relation with findings of clinical examination one may reach to proper diagnosis and that may be accordingly manage.
