I just noticed pinpoint white bumps on the mucosal surface of my upper lip. They are kind of grouped together and in multiple different places. They are not painful, but I have never noticed them before. I am a non-smoker, and I haven't eaten anything different lately. Also, I do not get cold sores. Should I be concerned?

Well the symptoms indicate towards condition called fordyce spot. They are caused by accumulation of sebum by the sebaceous gland. It could be due to dehydration and fungal infection as well. Need not to worry. Usually they resolve with time by its own in few days. If they persists along with other symptoms them you should consult oral physician/dermatologist for proper evaluation and start treatment accordingly.
