General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
The medications you are taking as prescribed are indicated to be taken for high blood pressure and also to prevent complications arising out of hypertension like coronary artery disease.
With medications, your blood pressure of 120/60 mmHg is under good control. You need to periodically check your blood pressure and only decrease the dose of these medications as advised by your Physician.
If you think that blood pressure is under control and stop taking medications, it can complicate by sudden uncontrolled rebound hypertension and land you in complications like myocardial infarction and stroke.
Your dosage can be reduced after review, but you need to take the maintenance dose compulsorily.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
