What Do The Blood Tests Mean?

Good day;
my name is AMAL, i'm a 38 year old Male. waight-72kg, height-5'-6"
i do not have a medical history for any illness or long term medication.
Recent general check up revealed that my TSH is 7.2(range 0.4-4.00) test date 25/06/2011.
The GP requested for more tests:(from a different lab)test date-09/07/2011
TSH -25.79 (range .27-4.2)
S-FT4 -11.3 (range 12-22)
Thyroglobulin Ab 283.2 (range .31-4.11)
thyroid anti-macrosomal > 1000(range .16-5.61)

I do not feel any abnormal symtoms yet. pl explain what all the tests meen.

Hi there,

The test results mean that you have Autoimmune Thyroid Disease. In your case, it is hypothyroidism. The two test results show different values of TSH. But since FT4 is also low and Anti Microsomal Abs are positive, that does not make a difference from treatment point of view.
You should see an Endocrinologist in person and get a prescription of thyroxine.
