What Do The Blood Test Results Indicate?

I had blood work done earlier this week and my liver functions were elevated. My doctor ordered more blood work and some of the results came back today. AST- 99 ALT-160 Alkaline Phosphatase-305 I am a healthy 44 yr old female.It was too late in the day to talk to my doctor.

Thanks for your question on HCM. Yes your liver enzymes are elevated with elevated alkaline phosphatase. This suggest obstruction in hepatobilliary system with liver cellular damage. So further investigation in the list should be ultrasound of abdomen for liver size, parenchyma and billiary system. USG is excellent tool for diagnosing gall stone. So please get done USG Abdomen.
