What Do Small Boils In The Throat Indicate?

can there be any connection to undiagnosed (had all kinds of allergy tests, swallow tests, GERD tests) mucus in throat to small boils. I had a light MRSA infection on my toe about an year and 1/2 ago. I am a competing triathlete with content uck in my throat especially while intense bike and run. My dr is considering sending me to pulmonlogist for some sophisticated exercise induced asthma tests. I just don t think it is coming from my lungs although I did have pneumonia 2x in the last 3 yrs.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of small boils in the throat which seems to be due to upper respiratory tract infection which is caused by viral/ bacterial microorganism. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should go for throat swab test and get blood tests done and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Avoid intake of outside food. Avoid spicy food and cold beverages. You should do warm saline gargles. You should take steam inhalation. You should take antiallergic medication such as Levocetirizine. Doctor main prescribe antibiotics after proper investigation.
