Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
From your description, the lesions sound like boils or furuncles . it is an infection of the hair follicles. You need to send the pus for culture and sensitivity tests as these are recurrent. Based on that, the doctor will choose an appropriate antibiotic to get rid of the boils.
However you could also keep in mind insect bites like bed bug bite and scabies which upon scratching could get secondarily infected. ( since you have mentioned that it starts with itching) . screen your mattress for bed bugs.
Hope this helps you.
Take care.
