What Do Knots On Neck Indicate?

Hi I have two knots in on my neck one on my left side and one on my right side they get really sore and big most of the time. I have asked doctors about this before and they say they are just lymph nodes. If that is true shouldn t they have gone away by now? I have had them for about 5 years now. I have also notice a lump on the back of my skull it s hard and doesn t hurt at all and doesn t move I can t tell if it s anything I should be worried about.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
swollen lymph nodes for long duration could indicate tubercular infection or any type of blood disease, the best is to get it removed and get a biopsy done to clear the cause.
