What Do Itchy Rashes On Body Indicate?

I have a rash on my arms, hands, stomach, back and legs, only maybe 10 raised places on each. Almost like little sores. Today is day 12 of this which is very itchy. Each one is red around it with a small hole in the center. I noticed these a day or two after I had spent two days working in my yards in south Georgia. I thougth at first poison ivy/oak or sumac, but then it began to look more like red bugs. Now I am just so tired of it and ready for it to be gone. Have treated with Epson Salt Bath, bleach, witch hazel, cortizone, calamine, baking soda paste, you name it....Please help, what is it and how do I make it go away?

I can understand your concern for itchy rashes on body with characteristic central indentation.

After analyzing your query with diligence I can make out a possibility of “Erythema multiforme” in your case.

It is characterized by typical rash all over body along with central indentation and progressive all over body. These are more concentrated towards the hands and feet and have typical itching over the spots.

I generally prescribe a course of oral and topical steroids in your kind of cases. An antihistamine such as cetrizine is also helpful in reducing the itching.

I suggest you to meet a dermatologist or if not possible then to a family physician to rule out the best cause for the same.
