What Do Blisters On The Lips And The Vagina Indicate?

my mom is 99 years old tonight i found some blisters on her upper lip and at her vagina upper area. it looks like herpes simplex. i guess it is viral and has no cure? my mom had just had an episode of bronchitis and vaginal bleeding (light, which probably due to her lack of hormone?) I am thinking probably her immune system has been lowered so the herpes came out? I had some antibiotic cream so put it on the blisters to protect the skin even though it is for bacteria. tomorrow i will ask my brother to get some topical lidocaine for her. please let me know what i should do for my mom. thank you very much

Hi. if it is in both lips n vagina then definitely herpes simplex, its viral n self limiting. topical Antibiotics won't help much. if it's in early stages then you can add acyclovir tablet's 400mg 4 times a day for 7 days. And Also search for acyclovir topical ointment to apply on infected sites.
