What Do Blisters On The Chest And Waist Indicate?

I have been being treated for the last week for muscle strain. I have been taking a muscle relaxant and that is better. Three days ago, I began breaking out in a rash with small blisters it has spread in bands around my chest/above my waist. I am now starting to look as it heals like I have bruising. It itches, but not as much as one would think it does. I have been treating it with hydrocortisone and an antibiotic ointment.
