What Do Absence Of Periods After Surgery On Cervix Indicate?

I am 42 years old. I was diagnose with hpv. I had a surgery on my cervix. My period came right after and the next month it didn t come. I took several pregnancy test they came out negative. I am on folic acid also.I am afraid I don t know what s is going on please help.

Though you have not mentioned what kind of surgery had been done cervical surgery itself has no impact on menstuation. You have not mentioned the time period since last menstruation. If you used to had regular cycles earlier it can also be irregular now a days as you are approaching towards premenopausal phase. Stress itself can cause delay of menstruation. Moreover urine pregnancy test can be false negative. So if you are symptomless and there is not much delay of menstruation like 20 days, you may wait. Otherwise please do a lower abdominal ultrasound to detect whether there is any complication.
