What Diet Should Be Followed In Case Of EH Cyst Present ?
what diet should be followed in case of EH cyst present in stool i have been experiencing pain after passing stool. And when passing stool i can see blood on stool. I am 23 years age girl. I have consulted doctor for the same but no result is there. Also i am feeling lose of appetite as well. I feel heaviness in my stomach all the time. So please kindly help me by giving suggestions for the same. And this problem is being faced by me from last two weeks. Please let me know that if this problem is serious.

Metronidazole is the drug of choice for the treatment .Metronidazole followed by a luminal agent likediloxanide furoate is the treatment of choice for amebic colitis.mantain food hygiene.boil water and drink. cook the food properly.

The EH cyst is a cyst or eggs of Entamoeba histolytica which are causing pain ;blood in stools please see if you have any cramping pain in abdomen which comes before stools and some times all through the day.If it is so then you need to take antibiotic like Metronidazole in proper dose which your doctor will advice.Also the best precaution in diet will be to drink only boiled water;avoid seafood;meat .Otherwise you can take a proper diet but if you have loose motions the take soft diet.
