What Diet Is Suggested For Lactose Intolerant Baby?

my 12 week old baby is excessively sick and in alot of pain when he eats. He;s on anti reflux medications (domperidone and omeprazole) but they aren't helping. He's also on special dairy free milk incase its due to a milk allergy but nothings helping. Hes vomiting about 6 ounces a day. Do u think this is excessive or am i a neurotic mother??

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi..First thing is that why the child is not on breast feed? Also if there is repeated vomiting and no loose motion it is less likely to be due to lactose intolerance and there is no need to change the feed. You should burp the child for 15 to 20 minutes post feed. Another possibility is pyloric stenosis which can cause such symptoms immediately post feed associated with a palpable mass in abdomen.
