What Could Veins Swelling On Wrist And Forearm Suggests?

I have swelling in my right forearm. I noticed swollen veins in my wrist about an hour ago, and the swelling runs from my wrist now to my elbow. I m in no pain, and I have suffered no trauma or injuries to my arm. I m icing it now, hoping to reduce the swelling. Any thought on why this is happening? Thanks!

Hello,
I have studied your case. Most probably you are having thromboflebitis. In this condition there is inflammation of the veins leading to pain and swelling.I would recommend you following.
1.Hot water fomentation.
2.Apply thromfobe ointment.
3.Tablet Brufen 400 mg twice daily.
4.Elastocrape bandage.
I hope this answer will be helpful for you.Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
