What Could Thick Saliva In Throat With Constant Burping Suggest?

Hi I m having a lot thick bubbly saliva build up in my throat with 10 months , it can effect my conversations and make me hoarse, cough and need to clear my throat , it s not just a sensation, I do get lots out, my nose is always dry and stuffy and nothing ever comes out, I used to think I had post nasal drip but I think it s coming from my stomach up, my chest gets tingley, but no heartburn, I m constantly burping or breaking wind, and cough myself to death immediately after food or drinking water to burp to realise trapped air, I m guessing I have reflux , I never rarely cough up acid, mostly thick saliva with whatever little bits food get stuck in it, had X-ray on chest all clear , saliva sample no infection, took gerd tablets, waiting for the ent next and if that s clear prob send me to stomach specialist, Any suggestions that could help , I sleep raised , drink plenty water and I steam but blocks my nose more, I exercise and eat well, no allergies I m aware of.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Good your doing all the things which one needs to do in propable case of reflux,
In addition to it avoid spicy oily food, take plenty of water add salad with your food,

Eat atleat 2 hr before you sleep,

And don't have to much food at a time,
Increase the frequency of taking food but at a single time have less food,

Visit a gastroentrologist and endoscopy will be needed,

Hope this information helps.
