What Could The White String Like Things In The Throat Sticking To The Tonsil Be?

my husband told me he felt like something was in his throat. I looked with flash light and there was a hard white string looking thing sticking out his tonsil. I pulled it out with tweezers. The odd thing is that it looks as if two more are fixing to pop through around the same area! WHAT IS THAT?

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding white string like thing sticking to tonsil.

Your clinical history and facts of your symptoms are in favor of chronic tonsillitis with keratosis. the white sting what you have removed is really the infected debris which had been organised.

It will be better to consult your ENT doctor for examination, necessary investigations and treatment.

Regards.
