What Could The Lump In The Thyroid Be?

i have had an ongoing yeast infection. it keeps coming back...I have a red , tight, itching sensation at the site of an episiotomy from 30 years ago. I have taken difulcan once /wk. for the month of July and douched with tea tree oil and water yesterday. it felt better until i showered before bedtime. could I be sensitive to the shower gel ? Also in the last month have noticed a perianal rash & hemorroids.went to my gyn. & primary doc..was told to use desitin for one month. that area seems to be clearing up. I am 62, 5'2" at 129 lbs. I recently have been shown to have a lump in thyroid via cat scan. am scheduled for ultrasound and biopsy. can you give me any advice?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have lump in thyroid. It can be nodular goitre, colloid goitre, adenoma or papillary carcinoma or some other pathology. You should go ultrasound thyroid and biopsy or FNAC of that lump. Also go for T3, T4 and TSH. Then you should take treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
