General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
The diagnosis is obvious. IF the tests for glandular fever is negative you are suffering from Chronic tonsillitis and there may be an added specific cause for tonsillitis enlargement.
I would advise you to get an Examination some by an ENT Surgeon.
Get tonsillectomy done .
and get the specimen tested by histo-pathology.
This will confirm or rule out the specific cause and you may be alright for ever.
