What Could Sudden Red Splotching On A Toddler S Limbs Indicate?

Hi, my near 20 month old has been getting red splotchiness on her arms/shoulders and legs when exposed to heat. This has been happening for a week and now tonight for the first time, it happened after her bath. I haven t changed anything in her diet or soaps ect.

Hi.
As per your case history your child may be having urticaria.
My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid foods with artificial color and avoid dairy products.
2. Don't give any medication without doctors advice as certain medicines can cause urticaria.
3. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion twice daily.
4. Start levocetrizine syrup 2.5ml once at night.

If condition persists beyond 2 weeks then consult a dermatologist.
