What Could Recurring Raised Spot Under The Skin With Itchy, Burning Sensation Followed By Bleeding And Scabs Be?
Ive had recurring itchy spots mainly on forearms and thighs but can appear anywhere for a couple of year now and am getting fed up...they start as a raised spot under the skin and I get a itchy tingley burning sensation and when scratched they bleed scab then scar, no diet change or anything to cause allergic reaction and otherwise clean and healthy
Hi From the description provided, I suspect mainly an allergic cause for such skin presentation. See I would to consider various eczema also. You should avoid using any irritants over the skin. Just use mild cleansers or soap for cleaning. Wear cotton clothes as far as possible. Do not use any irritants like dettol over skin. Take oral antihistamines for the associated discomfort or itching. See a dermatologist for proper evaluation and treatment.
