What Could Protein +4 And RBC +4 Levels In Test Report Suggest?

I just had my UA & the results that alarmed me most were the Protein=+4 & the RBC= +4.. what do you think does this emphasize? I don't have flank pain, My creatinine=84 which I think is normal. I also have undergone X-ray & ultrasound which was done by a eurologist and they found nothing.. Now I am really troubled.. What do you think it is?

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Presence of red blood cells (RBCs) in urine can be due to injury to the urinary tract or diseases in the kidney.
Stones in urinary tract are the most common cause of injury and passage of red blood cells in the urine.
Since, X-ray and ultrasound are within normal limits, the possibility of stones is ruled out.
Thus, disease of kidney is the most probable possibility.
Presence of proteins in urine are seen in case of kidney disease.
Thus, complete kidney functions and kidney biopsy is required to know the disease process in the kidney.
You need to consult a nephrologist for further assessment and management.

Thanks and take care
