Hallow Dear,

In early stage, any cancer is a painless lesion. Please get yourself checked from a physician for the difficulty in breathing and swallowing.

Cervix itself does not exhibit its pain inside the vagina. Cervical pain is referred to the low back. Again, cervical cancer in majority of the cases is exhibited as post coital vaginal bleeding and not as any painful event.

I do empathize your cancerphobia due to loss of your mother due to cervical cancer. I would advise you to have regular Pap's smear testing and clinical intravaginal examination. This follow up will keep a track of your cervix.

Also, for your breast follow up, daily self breast examination and yearly mammography will be of great help to you. Breast palpation should be performed by flat of the hand and not by pinching with fingers. If you find any tumour, particularly which is not moving with the movements of breast, you should report to your surgeon.

I hope this helps you and removes your stress.
