i have been having extremely painful lymph nodes in my neck (esp in the evening). my throat is swollen but not sore. today there are red bumps/spots on the back of my throat and roof my mouth (midway back) i am very fatigued. also my ear canal is itchy in the awkward spot that i can't reach. i was tested for mono today. negative. they said my throat doesn't look sore and appears normal to them. even though my airway is very small compared to how it normally is. please help.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it appears to be the pharyngitis , a bacterial infection.
I advise you to consult an E.N.T. surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. If necesory you may need to have a culture and sensitivity of the throat swab.
Avoid taking fruits, juices, cool water, drinks, and ice creams.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
