What Could Occasional Red Blotching Of Skin On Alcohol Consumption Indicate?

Occasionally i get temporary red blotches on my skin after just drinking one glass of wine. It happens occasionally and sometimes I don t notice and someone tells me. Other times I feel a little heat on my chest and face. It does not last long. It seems as if it would be something in that specific wine i am drinking and not generally in alcohol itself because it does not happen all the time. What could it be and could It have an effect on my health or is it ok as long as I am ok having temporary blotches randomly? I have not been able to trigger what exactly it is to be able to regulate it.

Hi there,,welcome to HCM
-It is most likely that your body is allergic to one of the ingredient of that
drink..
-Take antihistamine like levocetirizine 10mg or fexofenadine 180 mg to combat
this condition...
-I advice you to restrict this drink as repeated usage may lead to a more
severe episode...
Hope this will help
