What Could Neck Pain On Bending Forward After A Head Injury Indicate?

I hit the top of my head on a fake rock while rock climbing on Monday. It didn't really hurt but a day or two later I noticed I was having some neck pain when I woke up in the morning. Looking closer at things I noticed that when I keep my head in a down position for too long the lower back of my head/center of my neck above my spine starts hurting along with the top of my head (which explained why my neck hurt in the morning b/c that's how I sleep). I woke up this morning and it didn't hurt but I was reading with my head down and my neck started to hurt again with some pressure in the top of my head. I'm scheduled to see a doctor on Monday about it but I was wondering if I should go sooner for any reason.
