Hi Dear!!Thanks for your query to HCM.
Read your query and understood your health concern.I feel concerned about your health issues.
Based on facts of you query, you seem to suffer from-
Crohn's Disease,which is auto-immune disorder.
UBICAR is a anti-oxidant supplement. It is prescribed mostly for to recoup out of your muscle pain and its nutrition. You can continue it taking long without any side effects from it.But you need to Consult your doctors and keep them informed on this long term usage.
Muscle pain in your case suggests the recovery process after your daughter started taking Anticrohn's medicines. These do cause muscle cramps from hypokalemia caused from Steroid medicines -which is the main drug currently to treat Crohn's disease. To come out of this your daughter would need supplements with Kesol liquid to recoup the side effects with steroids given for Croh'ns.

Hope this reply would help you to plan further treatment with your doctors there.

Welcome for further query in this regard if any.
Good Day!!

Hello. Thanks for asking to healthcaremagic.I understand your concern.
In my opinion crohn's disease doesn't seem to relate with the muscular pain, rather the medications for it have the potential to cause muscle atrophy and pain.As such nothing wrong in continuing the drug UBICAR long term. But i would advise you to follow as per her treating doctor's prescription and also discuss if any change in therapy regimen or drug dose might be needed.Hope this information helps you.If any further queries, happy to help you.Take care.
