What Could It Be If Suffering From Dryness, Itchiness And Discharge From The Breast?

I have a 21 year old friend friend who's nipples have had irritation, itchiness, dryness, and fluid come out for the past 7 months. Only Hydrocortisone helps the itchiness and the dryness to go away. She went to a dermatologist and he said it is eczema and gave her the Hydrocortisone cream. She has done a sonogram, it came out negative. She has recently gone to see a breast specialist and he told her to use a Vitamin E cream and wash her breast with aveeno soap and apply the cream. However nothing is working but the Hydrocortisone. But the breast specialist said not to use it because of the side affects. She has no family history of breast cancer or any type of cancer. She is very worried that it might be pagget disease but because the Hydrocortisone is helping the doctors say it cant be. None of the doctors were able to pin point what it is exactly, the cause nor the remedy. She is really scared, can you please help or have any advice to solve this mystery?

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The dryness and itching of the breast could be due to eczema. Keeping the area adequately moisturized will help. The discharge needs to be investigated to find out the cause.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
