What Could It Be If Having Red, Blotchy Hand, Blisters, Pain And Swelling On Knuckles?
my son suddenly has a red blotchy hand - spreading along the fingers & down the back of his hand to the wrist. There are blisters on his knuckles of the hand itself - not the finger joints. There is considerable pain & the base of the knuckles is swelling. He's feeling lethargic & toxic
Your son seems to have developed an infection of the hand called cellulitis . Since he is also developing systemic symptoms in the form of lethargy and weakness, it suggests that he needs an immediate attention in the form of antibiotics and both inflammatory agents. I would advise you to keep the affected area clean and dry. You should immediately see a local doctor who can assess the condition and start with antibiotics to bring the infection under control.
