What Could It Be If Having A Light Brown Coin Sized Patch Below Armpit?

hi doctor! I noticed a light brown coin size patch with dry skin peel two inches below my armpit three days ago.No itch,pain or stinging at all.I applied soframycin some of the dried skin came off. I can see a net kind of ring surrounding the patch.I am wooried.Plz help.

Thanks for writing here.

It seems you are having fungal infection.It commonly occurs on moist areas of body like armpits ,groins etc.Use loose cotton clothes.Keep area dry.Use a good antifungal poweder like candid.At night you can apply antifungal cream like DK gel which contains miconazole.In case there is no response you need to take oral medications ,but it is better to take under the guidance of a dermatologist.Take care.
