What Could Have Indentation In Skull At The Top Of The Head And Is It Serious?

I have had a large depression in the top of my skull for all of my adult life. It is about six inches in diameter and about 1/2 to 1/4 inches deep. It is over the center top of my skull where the soft spot on a baby would be. What caused it and are there problems with this?

Tomybest of knowledge,it is a congenital defect. Fusion has not taken place. you should becarefull to avoid injury tothat part. A MRI canbe done tojudge proximity of brain tothis part.A neurosurgeon canbe consultedfor further course of treatment.
