What Could Grinding Feeling In Lower Abdomen Be Which Starts From Right Towards Left With A Burning Feeling?
Hello:
I often get a grinding feeling in my lower abdomen that starts on the right and heads over to the left. A burning feeling is experienced during the transition. My body does not welcome food. The stuff feels like it just sits inside me. If I eat a meal, I don't want to eat for the next few days. Then I get really hungry and the process starts all over again. Quick carbs seem to be all that are welcomed in and even then I'm experiencing problems. Like yesterday, I had a Clif Bar and some chocolate chip cookies. I tried eating a veggie burger but I got full really fast. the odd thing is that I have been going for acupuncture to loosen up my colon and improve mood, but even with better bowel movements, i am still experiencing this problem. The same thing happened to me last year at almost the same time and acupuncture took care of it then. Any idea on what this can be?
Hi. As per your history this can be a subacute form of intestinal obstruction. A standing X-ray abdomen to start with may help diagnosis. You may need enteroclysis or contrast enhanced CT scan to know the exact diagnosis which will guide your / Doctor for further management. BY the time , take ony liquids orally and see a Doctor.
