What Could Dizziness, Fatigue, Headaches And Metallic Taste Indicate?

I have been on and off dizzy the past two days, slight pain in my lower abdomen, very tired, headaches, and a few hours ago started experiencing a constant now salty metal taste in my mouth only the sides of my tongue. I am already a paranoid person, but just double checking that I am not over reacting!

Hello dear,

The symptoms as mentioned in your post is attributed to either infection or inflammation in the Gastrointestinal tract.
The dizziness & tiredness can be due to fluid & electrolytes imbalance in the body.

Management involves:
1. Tablet Pantoprazole + Domperidone twice daily (to be taken half an hour before food)
2. Anti spasmodics like Dicyclomine preparation twice daily (to be taken after food).
3. Oral Rehydration Solution (O.R.S) for maintaining the hydration status & electrolyte balance of the body.
4. Take soft, plain, non-spicy foods.
5. Avoid fast foods & gas producing food products like cabbage, etc.

Investigations like complete blood count, estimation of serum electrolytes & Ultrasound scan of abdomen & Pelvis will be helpful in detecting any pathological cause for the symptoms.

There is no need to worry, you will be fine.
Wishing a good health.
Take care.
