What Could Delayed Periods, Positive HPT But Subsequent Brown Discharge And Negative HPT Indicate?

I took a seven home pregnancy test after missing my period about 5 weeks and they all came out positive and then about day before christmas I took another and it came out negative. Prior to that I was spotting dark reddish blood when wiping. Could I still be pregnant?

Hi there,
Welcome to HCM,

A positive pregnancy test followed by vaginal discharge and then pregnancy test becoming negative implies that you have had a early miscarriage. It is very unlikely that you are still pregnant.
If you want to remove all doubts you could get a blood test done to check for the BHCG, and repeat it after 48 hours to see the decline in the value.
Sorry for your loss.

Hope this helps.
Regards.
