What Could Complex Cyst In The Ultrasound Suggest?
I have had my period now for 15 days went to the OB yesterday she ordered an ultrasound and now a biopsy. There is a Complex cyst on my right ovary. I am 48 yrs old. I have also been on tamoxifin. I showed this to another rad and he was interested to know why they would biopsy this. Thoughts

Biopsy is done for many conditions to rule out many suspicious disease condition like cancer.
If a doctor found any abnormality tissue during examination he suggest for biopsy.
