hi , yes im a 28 year old female and have been smoking for 11 years i quit yesterday due to a slight wheezing when laid down which ive never had before also i have like a dull aching that rotates around my rib cage , could this be to do with my lungs? thankyou
Hi. I can understand your concern. Yes possibility that it is due to your lungs. Don't worry, you will be alright. It would be advisable for you to get a chest x ray done. If it is normal then get a PFT done which will tell us how much your lungs are functioning and what is the effect of smoking on them. Consult a pulmonologist for the same. STOP SMOKING before it causes more harm to you. Hope I have solved your query. Wish you good health. Thanks.
