What Could Cause Tightness At Back Of The Head?

Hi I am having a really bad tightness in the back of my head. I ve had this for a while now. I m only 22 years old and I don t know what it could be. It is not painful but it s really uncomfortable. I often find myself constantly trying to tilt my head and stretch it out. The exact location is on the back left of my head and it feels like it s on the left tendon that runs down the back of the head and just stops before the neck (I don t know what it is called exactly). Hope you can help.
