What Could Cause Sudden Seizures?

I had a ct scan which showed cloudy area on my left side. An eeg showed seizure activity in the same area. My neuro has now ordered an MRI. She wants me to begin seizure meds. I want to wait until we see the MRI. What could suddenly bring on seizures?

it's not a sudden. a cloudy area as u say, might be a tumour or an abscess or an ischemic zone. the process was progress for years to cause seizure suddenly on that day.
take meds. no need to wait until MRI report comes. medicine just to control seizure (which is a symptom), not to cure that lesion
