What Could Cause Sudden Electric Shock Like Pain In Chest With Burning Sensation In Upper Back And Right Shoulder Blade?
Over the past week I've had electric shock like pains in my chest. Mainly around the left breast, but sometimes on the right. Now with a slight burning sensation in spots. No rash. Not painful and last only seconds, but frequent. slight tightening in left chest almost feels muscular , comes and goes. Now I suddenly have a slight burning sensation in my upper back by right shoulder blade. Like I've put on ben gay but I haven't. At first worried it was my heart but my blood pressure and pulse rate have been good
I am so sorry to hear about this query. I am pretty sure this is not a heart related pain. its description is not at all suggestive of this. It sounds more of a neurological pain, probably peripheral neuropathy. I will suggest that you get this pain evaluated and managed accordingly.
I hope this addresses your query fully. Thank you so much for patronizing our services and please do feel free to ask for follow up clarifications and information if need be. I wish you the best of health. Dr. Ditah, MD.
