What Could Cause Period Like Bleeding After Intercourse?

Hi, i'm 22 with two kids. I got my menstrual cycle on Dec. 2 and lasted for five days. On the 8th I started my second birth control pack throughout the 20th and after that i dind't take anymore. On the 12, my husband and I had sex and he came in me. On the 26th, I started bleeding then it turned brown and on the third day it stopped. On the 31st, we were sexually active again and I started bleeding again just for couple of hours then it turned brown and stopped on the third day. What can be happening with me can it be my period ir could i have gotten pregnant?

It is hard to tell based on the dates you described. Since you stopped the pills on the 20th, it is very unlikely that you got pregnant when you had sex on the 12th. The bleeding you had on the 26th was probably just a light period, and sometimes your periods right after you take birth control pills can be light. When you had sex on the 31st it was probably too early in the cycle to get pregnant, and the bleeding may still have been the period, or maybe something else. I doubt that you got pregnant, but I can't be 100% sure about it.

I would suggest that you take a home urine pregnancy test, and see what it shows, It will probably be negative, and then you can just wait until your next period. Even if it is negative, if you are trying to get pregnant, you still might get pregnant before your next period. If you do not want to be pregnant now, I would suggest that you use condoms until you have your next period, then restart the birth control.
